Soft, sweet, and just a little nostalgic—Once Upon a Marshmallow smells like the perfect golden marshmallow fresh from the fire.
It opens with delicate notes of softly brûléed sugar and powdered sugar dusting, creating that warm caramelized sweetness you get when a marshmallow begins to toast. At the heart, melted marshmallow and rich vanilla absolute add a creamy, fluffy sweetness that feels comforting and indulgent without being overpowering.
As it burns, warm tonka and toasted clove bring a subtle depth while vanilla musk lingers in the background, wrapping the scent in a cozy, fireside glow.
It’s sweet, warm, and a little bit magical—like childhood campfires and sticky fingers… but elevated.

Every candle you see here is handmade by me (hi, I’m Jess 👋) in my kitchen in Lexington, SC. Since they’re poured in small batches—and I’m definitely not a factory 🙃—you might notice a few quirks: a wick that’s a little off-center, a label slightly askew, or some textured wax on top (that’s just natural wax doing its thing). None of it affects how beautifully your candle burns—it just makes each one perfectly unique. Around here, we call it character, not imperfection.
